Invalid Username or Password
This indicates that the username or password entered is incorrect. Please try the default usernames and passwords to log in. Username and passwords are case sensitive, so make sure the CAPS LOCK is not enabled and that spelling is correct.
Timed out trying to connect
Time out errors indicate that the CORIOmaster device is unreachable. There are a few causes for this error
- PC and CORIOmaster are not on the same subnet. Verify that the CORIOmaster is reachable by PINGing the discovered IP address and make any changes to the PCs network settings as necessary.
- If a control system is logged in using the CLI API, it may be holding the port open and blocking other devices from connecting to the CORIOmaster.
- Secure connection is selected while trying to log in without secure connection or vice versa will cause this error.
- The CORIOmaster is not on or fully booted. C3-510 and C3-540 devices should have a green status light on the front panel indicating that the devices is fully booted.
Unsupported API version
The firmware version on the target device is lower that the minimum required by the installed version of CORIOgrapher. Please see Unsupported API version: x.x.xxx < y.y.yyy
Index was out of range
CORIOgrapher did not get a proper response when reading settings from the CORIOmaster device. This typically indicates an issue with the firmware. Updating to the latest firmware release will typically correct this error. In some rare instances, it may be necessary to reload a previously backed up configuration file after the update.
An exception has occurred while connecting. (1006)
This is typically caused by network issues.
- Check to see that a gateway has been assigned in you PC's network settings.
- Make sure that internal and external firewalls allow traffic between the PC and CORIOmaster device.
- Check user policies to ensure that it has the required rights to use the CORIOgrapher software.
- Check VPN settings that may be interfering with connection to the CORIOmaster device.
